"Welcome
letter from APO".
The Adoptive Parents Organization of Central
New Jersey (APO) was formed over 25 years ago to meet the needs
of families adopting through the Catholic Charities in this area.
Today, the APO has grown to not only include
families who have adopted through many different agencies, but
also many different kinds of adoption. We strive to inform, discuss
and learn about all aspects of adoption, to include families
waiting as well as families thinking about adoption.
Our group offers a New Parents Network and
a Children's Support Group. We are involved
in our communities through donations and volunteering.
The APO provides a calendar of events which
includes activities for children and adult socials. Our meetings
include speakers from members' suggestions and open forums where
we talk about parenting issues.
Our
meetings are held on the third Wednesday of
the month from September to May at 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. They are at St.
Gregory the Great Parish Center, 4680 Nottingham Way, Hamilton
Square, NJ. (Click here for
